Lord, what will I be sharing today? It will be a surprise to me too. I have been keeping busy with a ton of different activities. I hurt my hip in May, and I have been fighting with bursitis and weather that is unbearable when you have to wear a wig. So a little bit of this and a little bit of that is how I kept busy. I have been doing a lot of crochet projects. It is all about experimenting. I love to see something new and to give it a try. I have also been creating a few more children’s books using AI. I have made two alphabet books and another number, colors, and shapes book. I also finished up a new Maeve book. The Maeve books have been picking up in sales. This month, I sold seven books in one day. We have a small library box near our home. So I added one of the Maeve books in that tiny library. Earlier this year, I bought a crochet website’s advent calendar on clearance. It is a fantastic calendar. It was filled with yarn, crochet hooks, and other accessories. It comes with an online code to get the instructions for a Christmas throw.

I have been working through the beautiful assortment of yarn colors. I still have a way to go, but Christmas is a few months away. I still love fabric designs but am in the middle of a creative block. I have sent one or two entries to the competitions, but I am creating a dishtowel calendar for the latest competition. Nothing is gelling at all. I also made a number of my doodle art pieces. It relaxes me because I am on edge because of major impending dental surgery. I recently finished a few crocheted toys and three purses made of colorful yarn combos. I am always experimenting, and my latest is a weighted blanket. I think it is such an excellent idea. Sorry that this was a little dull. I hopefully will have some new ideas next time. I will photograph the progress of the weighted blankie. I have been having a hankering to create the altoid tin wallets. I bought a set of tins at a garage sale. They are perfect for this project.
