A little token of appreciation

I’ve often mentioned my ongoing journey with dental implants, which has involved numerous oral surgeries. I have an outstanding surgeon, supported by four nursing assistants who are incredibly kind and caring. Last Christmas, I intended to express my gratitude with small thank-you gifts, but my sister-in-law’s funeral changed our plans. It seemed inappropriate to offer candy as a thank-you to the dental staff, so I opted for a more fitting gift. I’ve been crafting cotton washcloths and soap holders, all made from 100% cotton, as tokens of my appreciation. After considerable effort, I’ve completed this project.

I am excited to assemble the gifts to deliver to the dental office this Friday. They operate close to our home twice a week, making it convenient to drop off the gifts. I’m pleased with the final outcome and eager to share them with you. The washcloth pattern, which I discovered online, is versatile, inspiring me to use it for handbags because it allows for continuous crocheting in the round. Created with love, I hope these gifts convey my deep appreciation for their care. I am a little bit of a ditz. I will share the photos that I have because I forgot to take a photo of the finished project. I dropped them off at the surgery last week. It is so wonderful that I can rely on such amazing surgery techs.
